Sandra Lee Roth-Snyder the wife of Former Commander Nicky Martin Snyder passed away on March 12, 2022. We stopped by to do a welfare check with Sandy and was notified by her neighbor. Please hold Sandy's family in your thoughts and prayers as we all get through this difficult time of mourning. 

As some may know, Sandy had terminal Cancer and wasn't expected to live long. We are thankful she is no longer suffering and is at peace. Sandy was a huge part of Nick and DAV's life. Sandy lost Nick last year, she assisted Nick when he was our Chapter Commander and was a member of our Auxiliary. They were one amazing team. Nick had limited eye sight and hearing due to his military service and relied on Sandy as his caregiver support. So she assisted Nick in all of his everyday life.

Our hearts go out to everyone impacted by this great loss. Please stay tuned for updates. Hill Crest is handling the arrangements for Eagle Point Cemetery so she can be laid to rest with Nick. 

Hillcrest states: "Sandra Lee (Roth) Snyder, age 75 years, passed Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center, Medford, OR. She was born July 9, 1946 in Twin Falls, ID to parents Harry Lee & Dorothy Mae(Allen) Roth. She is survived by her son Rod Pagel, Central Point, OR and daughter Elizabeth Kittrell, Ft. Collins, CO. She will be laid to rest in Eagle Point National Veterans cemetery with her husband Nicky Martin Snyder who preceded her. Services are pending."

We have been in contact with her son Rod Pagel and the ceremony will be held April 15, 2022 at Eagle Point Cemetery. We are still making arrangements for the reception.
